Foggy, windy, snowy and cold days allow a person to creep up on animals that you never get to see except for days like this. The predator really has the advantage in this situation. Most days, the sound of a person or predator is noisy, but on a day like this, footsteps are quieted by the snow and further muffled by the wind. I imagine seeing sights like "Black Hills Emperor" when I'm out in these conditions.
